Summary
More than ever, public services organisations are required to carefully document activities and decisions, meet ever stringent regulatory requirements and with a greater degree of transparency and accountability. Information must be created and available under governance, using appropriate policies, allowing for public disclosure and retrospective research. This increases the need to simplify access and understanding of information that can be “hidden” in unstructured data, such as documents, reports, emails and meeting notes.
During the IBM Data & AI Academy, join us and your peers in a morning of discussion, presentation and demonstration in which we explore:
- How to improve on traditional search by introducing the ability to visually interpret and understand the structure of complex business documents containing specific content and existing in more challenging formats such as PDFs, tables, and PowerPoint.
- How to model abstract subjects and complex terminology that is hard to find in large document environments.
- How to classify and enrich documents for improved processing and effective archiving.
- How to simplify information access across any channel at the scale you and your citizens need.
