Senior compliance leaders in insurance and in manufacturing rarely end up in the same room, but they should. The pressures overlap: individual accountability, AI governance, culture you can measure. The solutions often don’t.
This breakfast brings together a small group of senior compliance executives from insurance, banking, financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, and more for an open exchange on what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s next. The value is in the mix. A problem one industry is still debating, another may have already solved, or already gotten wrong.
Accountability that lands on individuals
Regulators are putting names, not just companies, on enforcement actions. How are compliance leaders tracking and protecting their compliance programs, and themselves, when personal liability is on the table?
AI governance before it governs you
AI is already in use across the business, often ahead of policy. We’ll look at who owns the risk, where oversight is breaking down, and what “responsible use” requires beyond a policy statement.
Culture you can measure
Completion rates show that training happened. They don’t show that behavior changed. What evidence are leaders using to show regulators and boards that their programs work?
Policy governance that holds up
Policies multiply faster than anyone can maintain them: Different owners, different versions, review cycles that lag behind regulatory change. When a regulator asks which policy was in force, who approved it, and whether employees understood it, how confident is your answer?
