Dragos: OT Security at Scale: Automation, Expertise, and AI in a Complex Threat Environment

Summary

This executive roundtable will help CISOs and OT security leaders move from visibility to decisive, defensible action. Delegates will discuss how intelligence-led prioritisation, expert support, and automation can reduce noise, accelerate response, and strengthen board-level confidence in OT risk management.

Discussion Topics

  • The visibility paradox: why more data does not always lead to faster decisions, and how leading organisations move from detection to action in hours rather than weeks.
  • Intelligence-driven prioritisation: how CISOs and OT leaders separate urgent risks from lower-priority work using threat context and adversary behaviour.
  • From board questions to board confidence: how intelligence-grounded decisions create a clear narrative for executives, regulators, and insurers.
  • Speed in incident response: how pre-incident intelligence and investigation frameworks can reduce MTTR and limit operational impact.
  • Decision support, not just alerting: what a practical intelligence-informed decision framework looks like for OT security programmes.

Speakers

Magpie Graham, VP, Strategic Intelligence, Dragos Inc

Magpie Graham is VP of Strategic Intelligence at Dragos, where he sets the direction for the company’s OT threat intelligence capability. With more than 17 years in cybersecurity, he has engineered and architected multiple generations of pan-government intrusion detection systems, reverse-engineered sophisticated nation-state malware, and tracked state-sponsored threat actors globally.

Before joining Dragos, Magpie spent six years at Microsoft leading the team tracking Russian and Eastern European threat groups, including APT28, APT29, and Sandworm. Prior to that, he spent six years within the UK’s cyber-defence apparatus, including work with the National Cyber Security Centre, tracking nation-state threats to UK critical national infrastructure and delivering intelligence to Five Eyes partners.

At Dragos, Magpie has led research into high-profile ICS-specific malware, including FrostyGoop, and is a regular speaker at cyber threat intelligence conferences. He advises critical infrastructure operators and European national security stakeholders on threats facing operational technology environments.
