Simultaneously, today’s top three business risks are relating to the environment. Technology plays an integral role in accelerating the journey to net zero by creating more accurate and refined operational processes while reducing unnecessary waste, driving better sustainability and business outcomes.

Jacob Dencik, Ph.D, Chief Economist and Global Sustainability Research Leader, IBM Jacob is responsible for leading the IBV’s research on topics at the intersection of technology, the global economy and sustainability. He leads IBV’s thought leadership on sustainability and has co-authored numerous papers on the topic. In addition, he has extensive experience advising companies around the world on their global operations and is frequently asked to speak to C-level executives on topics such as sustainability and digital transformation. He has also advised governments as an expert and economist on competitiveness, foreign direct investment (FDI), smarter cities and innovation. During more than 15+ years consulting experience, Jacob has worked in more than 30 countries around the world.

Het plaatje wordt compleet als ook mijn gedrevenheid, energie en resultaatgerichtheid meegenomen worden. Ik kom vaak met initiatieven en zorg ervoor dat deze ook tot resultaten leiden. Bij ZNAPZ is de Sales en Marketing aanpak hierdoor verbeterd en een beoordelingssysteem ingevoerd. Ook privé zie ik mijn gedrevenheid terug in wat ik doe. Op de racefiets is namelijk geen berg hoog genoeg, een trainingsrondje gaat als het even kan met een hoog gemiddelde. Zonder resultaat resteert het gevoel dat het niet compleet is, maar ik verlies hierbij het plezier niet uit het oog.
