Agreement By submitting the Booking Form, you, the Delegate accept The Network Group Events Terms and Conditions as set out in the Agreement between you and us (the Event Organiser). Event Attendance To ensure that the Delegate receives maximum value from the pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, the Delegate will be directed to complete a needs profile for inclusion on our secure event website. The Event Organiser will provide profiles of Solution Partner organisations and other Delegates to assist you in selecting who you would like to meet during the one-to-one meeting sessions. A deadline will be specified by which time meeting choices must be submitted to the Event Organiser. Participation in pre-arranged one-to-one meetings is at the discretion of the Event Organiser. The Event Organiser will not be liable to Delegates for any change in the number or identity of other attendees or for any attendees who do not keep scheduled meetings. You hereby confirm that you are appropriately qualified for attendance at the Event. At hotel-based Events, Delegates are responsible for the cost of facilities and gratuities including the use of leisure facilities at the Venue, parking, alcohol consumption (where applicable), travel, non-Event Organiser arranged dining, dry cleaning, mini-bar, and telephone calls. Alterations, Postponement or Cancellations made by the Event Organiser The Event Organiser will strive to adhere to the communicated event programme, but reserves the right to alter the event structure of the Event (i.e: location, venue, date and features etc). If the Event is cancelled or postponed by the Event Organiser due to events or circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to Acts of God, flood, failure of any material supplier to the Event, pandemic, cancellation by the Venue or other emergency or unforeseen circumstance (Force Majeure), the Event Organiser will reschedule the Event and the Delegate will be transferred to the appropriate re-scheduled Event (which shall take place within 12 months of the original Event). Cancellation and Substitutions by the Delegate Delegate who has committed to attend event but is unable to attend the event, may nominate a substitute of equivalent authority. Substitutes must be approved for admission at the Event Organisers discretion. If the Delegate, having committed to attend, fails to attend the event and fails to provide a notice of cancellation (or nominate a substitute acceptable to The Network Group) at least six weeks before the scheduled event date, the Event Organiser shall raise an invoice, addressed to, and payable by the Delegate’s Company in the sum of 300 EUR (excl. VAT), to cover administration, accommodation, lunch, dinner and other costs incurred on behalf of the Delegate by the Event Organiser. Delegate accepts that this payment shall be levied and agrees that payment will be made by the Company within four weeks of invoice date. Data Protection and Privacy Both parties to this Agreement agree to comply with all applicable requirements of Data Protection legislation. The information provided by the Delegate will be held on our database and used for any permitted legal purpose. If you would like to access or a copy of the personal information collected about you by the Network Group Events, please contact: info@thenetwork-group.com Miscellaneous The terms of this Agreement are binding upon the Delegate and the Event Organiser, it constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior undertakings between them. These terms are governed by English Law and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England in all matters.
