Summary

The SOC needs to evolve. Security teams must mature their security operations to derive more value from the systems, tools, and data at their disposal to keep cybercriminals from wreaking havoc. To achieve this, organizations are increasingly automating more repetitive SOC tasks and have long-term plans to build autonomous SOCs to augment their security analysts. However, will it be enough to address the constant of chaos and change? Is this something achievable?

Join Vincent Laurens, VP, Global Security Strategist and General Manager EMEA, as he explores the potential impact of implementing autonomous security operations in the SOC. He will discuss the benefits and challenges of autonomous security operations, the role of AI and ML use in security technologies and the potential impact on security teams and their business organisations.

  • How do analytics that uses automation and machine learning improve the performance and augment security analysts?
  • How to leverage community expertise to help quickly resolve threats and bridge the industry talent gap?
  • What considerations should SOC leaders make before their next SOC investment?
